Archery Range Rules

 

Practice Range Rules

 

1.     All members MUST sign the registration book at the archery range.

2.     All members MUST register their guest and pay $5.00 (or posted fee) before shooting either practice or target range.

3.     No more than two shooters per stand at the same time.

4.     No shooting ACROSS RANGE, always shoot at the target in your firing lane.

5.     Never shoot while another archer is retrieving arrows.  Always wait until path is clear.

6.     Never shoot with another archer behind the target stand.

7.     SHOOTING TOWER – No entry for children twelve and under without parental supervision.  No more than two people on the shooting tower at the same time, and the combined weight of the two people must be less than 350 pounds.

8.     All members must follow the FMC Sportsman’s Club rules.

3-D Target Range Rules

 

1.     All members MUST sign the registration book at the archery range.

2.     All members MUST register their guest and pay $5.00 (or posted fee) before shooting either practice or target range.

3.     All targets must be shot in sequence.

4.     Always shoot VITALS only on 3-D targets (no head, neck or legs shots on purpose.)

5.     3-D targets will be moved in location from time to time to make shooting more fun.  DO NOT move targets or distance flags.

6.     White distance flags are set for bow hunters.  Orange distance flags are set for open/pro shooters.  DO NOT move distance flags.  For scoring, one foot must be touching the flag while shooting target.

7.     Use good hunting safety practices while on target range.

8.     Anyone caught abusing range targets will be banned from archery range for one year.

9.     Anyone caught removing or trying to remove archery targets will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

10. All members must follow the FMC Sportsman’s Club rules.

VIOLATION of any of the above rules could result in losing your FMC Club membership.
