Lakes 2010

Welcome to the Lakes Web Page!  There have been many improvements made to the FMC Club lakes to enhance your fishing experience.  A decorative fountain and an aerator have been installed in the Brood Lake. The Brood Lake also has a fish feeder that is operated by a timer.  The feeder feeds the fish once daily.  The front fishing lake has two large aerators and the back lake will have an aerator installed in the Spring of this year.  The aerators circulate the water and improve the oxygen level for the fish in the lakes. 

There are more improvements planned for the 2010 year.  If there is something that you would like see done to the lake area, please email me with your suggestion at lakes@fmcclub.org  If work parties are planned, the specific dates will be posted on this page, check back here if you want to help.

Lakes
The club has two fishing lakes, and one brood lake. The fishing lakes are stocked several times a year with catfish in the summer and trout in the winter. Try your luck, you may even have fun! 

Accessibility
A handicap dock has been built at our front lake for those who like to fish, but are somewhat limited as to where they can go. Anyone may use it, but handicap persons have preference.

FYI = A fishing license is not required at the Club Lakes!

Have some free time? We could use your HELP with the weeds around the lakes! All weed whackers welcome!

Fishing/Sign-in
Fishing is for our Members and their Guest only. The Member must accompany guest(s), sign in and pay the guest fishing fee(s). Please have your Membership Card available, you may be asked to show proof of membership at any time.  Upon signing the guest in, please obtain an envelope, insert the $5.00 fee into the envelope and seal it.  Turn the envelope over and write the guest name and the date on the front of the envelope, then, drop the envelope into the money box.

2010 EVENTS
Feb  = Trout Stocked. (Trout has been stocked)
May = Catfish Stocked. (sometime during the month of May)
June 12 = Sat - Brood Lake Fish Transfer 8am - 12pm.
June 12 = Sat - Club Pot Luck Breakfast. Bring a dish to the Brood Lake.
July = Catfish Stocked. (sometime during the month of July)
Nov = Trout Stocked. (sometime during the month of Nov.)
Feb 2011 = Trout Stocked. (sometime during the month of Feb 2011.)

Please bring your membership card. There will be random membership card checks after each stocking of lakes. No fishing permitted while lakes are closed..

Lost and Found = Please contact Jim Hill for any items lost @ the lakes.

Help Needed
We could use some help around the lakes. Please lend a hand, and together we can make a difference.

Summer Night Fishing
Night fishing is permitted on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Refer to Fishing Regulations.
